Therapy Services

  • Individual Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a unique relationship where your needs come first. This means that we will prioritize what is most important to you and, from there, work towards finding ways for you to move through the world in a way that feels slightly more at ease as well as aligned with your goals, values, and priorities. It’s also important to sit with the realities of the world around you; this might mean that there are things we can’t change about your life, but we can find ways to cope with and find meaning in the world that you exist in.

A lot of times therapy can feel like a sounding board, a space to be gently held accountable, learn new insights about the reasons you react the way you do, as well as learn new skills to help regulate your emotions and nervous system.

I offer 50-minute sessions on a weekly and bi-weekly cadence. If it is clinically appropriate, I do offer sessions on a less frequent cadence.

  • Trauma Therapy

My approach to trauma therapy is similar in all capacities as my approach to individual therapy, however, we might find that we need more structure to process your trauma in a manner that is both effective and respectful. This is where EMDR comes in as a wonderful resource to help reprocess your memories and core beliefs around your experiences.

For trauma and EMDR work I offer weekly 50-minute sessions, as well as longer sessions. EMDR can often be beneficial in longer sessions; based on clinical judgment and scheduling needs, this can mean anywhere from a 75 - 90 minute session.

  • Parent Coaching and Consultation

Outside of a typical therapy realm, I offer coaching and consultation for parents of young children.

Coaching and consultation is hands-on, direct and often utilized to solve current dilemmas in parenting.

I offer coaching for emotional regulation issues, supporting children through traumatic events including divorce, parental stress/burnout and general consultations around what to do when you are not sure which therapeutic realm to explore.
